Welcome to our project at Bar Harbor Lobster Pound in Bar Harbor, Maine, where coastal heritage meets creative design. For this bustling local favorite, we installed custom nautical chart wallpaper throughout the dining room and bathrooms, bringing authentic maritime vibes to every corner of the restaurant. This installation is the first time we designed wallpaper to surround an in-wall fish tank—connecting the dining space with the sea just outside. Using traditional NOAA chart colors, each map is true to Maine’s coastline, with a playful custom touch: a lobster icon marking the exact location of Bar Harbor Lobster Pound.
While our nautical chart wallpaper sets the tone indoors, visitors can also explore the “Ice Cream Boat” outside; an old boat creatively converted into a unique ice cream stand, offering guests a taste of nostalgia and fun.
